Local Attractions
Within walking distance, apart from the abundance in variety of local shops, restaurants and bars, there is a beautiful man-made beach with plenty of beach beds available to hire.
Also is the harbour from where you can indulge a Catamaran cruise, see the Sealions, or enjoy diving or windsurfing. Or you could catch the free bus or get a taxi to the nearby shopping centre, bowling alley, cinema or go and play a round of golf. A crazy golf course is nearby on the way to the beach and is great fun for all.
A train ride which leaves from the harbour can take you on a tour around the resort of Caleta de Fuste. There are lots of car rental outlets around the town for those of you who would like to visit more of this beautiful island.
There is a wonderful zoo (Oasis de Los Camellos) to visit or maybe an afternoon in Corrolajo, which is a large, lively resort where there is more choice of restaurants and shops. Or find a smaller town to have breakfast by the beach. Wherever you decide to visit, the breathtaking landscapes are all around you.
